At Alpha Scientific, we operate three fully equipped laboratories located in Slough, Sittingbourne, and Manchester. Each facility is UKAS-accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and built to meet the rigorous standards required for microbiological and chemical water testing.

Slough Laboratory

Our purpose-built Slough laboratory has been home to Alpha Scientific since 2021. With a team of over 50 experts and the capacity to process more than 500,000 samples per year, it is a cornerstone of our operations.
This site specialises in water hygiene microbiology and closed system chemistry testing, with rapid turnaround capabilities and MALDI-TOF confirmations. Our senior scientists here bring over 80 years of industry experience to the lab ensuring consistent, dependable results.
Fun fact: The site of our Slough laboratory was once home to Gerry Anderson’s TV studios, where cult classics like Thunderbirds were filmed!
Sittingbourne Laboratory
